How do I make sure the cake is really HALAL? | We started this business based on the difficulty in getting a Halal form of gourmet cheesecake in Singapore. Most cakes served in bakeries or cafes have dhabiha, makrooh or masbooh ingredients (unknown source). Plus some contains Rum or other alcohol. Keeping strict to Islamic regulations, we manage to get my cheesecake containing Halal ingredients and thus still maintaining its gourmet ness and taste. What are the sizes & weights of the cheesecake? | • 4" Mini (0.3kg - 0.5kg) serves about 1 to 2 pax. • 7" Round (1kg - 1.3kg) serves about 6 to 10 pax. • 7x7 Square (1kg - 1.3kg) serves about 6 to 10 pax. • 8" Heart (1.2 - 1.5kg) serves about 8 to 10 pax. • 9" Round (2 - 3kg) serves about 12 to 16 pax. • 9x9 Square (2 - 3kg) serves about 12 to 16 pax. • 11" Round (3 - 4kg) serves about 20 or more pax. All Cheesecakes are between 2 to 3 inches high. Sizes mentioned above are in diameters. Weights shown are only in an approximate value. Weight may vary due to different flavours or fillings. Serving sizes depends on how the cake is cut. You can cut it anyway you want to for either sumptuous or stingy servings. The above amount are our recommended servings. |
What is the life-span of the cake? | This depends on how you store it. Below are the basic guide: 5°C - 10°C: 3 to 5 days for freshness, 7 to 10 days for consumption. 1°C - 5°C: 5 to 10 days for freshness, 12 to 20 days for consumption. Freezer: 10 to 15 days for freshness, up to 30 days for consumption. The above comsumption periods varies for different cake flavours. Cheesecake containing fruits have lesser lifespan for consumption. Always keep cheesecake REFRIGERATED. Cheesecake are meant to be refrigerated and not frozen unless necessary. It’s temperature is best when it is between 5 to 8 degrees Celsius. A chiller will be the best place though (the one they have in cafes or bakeries). Some fridges are set low and some are high and this will affect the cheesecake. For optimum flavour, serve cheese cake at almost room temperature. This will takes around 15 mins after leaving the fridge. Or if you like it a little hard, you can eat it straight from the fridge. |
How do I cut my cheesecake neatly? | To neatly cut your cheesecake, you may wish to do the following: 1. Dip a metal knife in hot or warm water. 2. Wipe the knife dry. 3. Cut the cheesecake. 4. Wipe the knife clean. 5. Repeat. |
How do I make my payment? | Payments are usually made only after cake is delivered. Its either in the form of cash or bank transfer. For surprise delivery, mode of payments are usually in the form of bank transfer. The account number are situated on the receipt once delivery is made or it will be SMS to your mobile. |
Do you provide candles and birthday tags? | Yes, we do provide them upon request. Please refer to the gallery page for examples of birthday tags. |
Do you accept last minute orders? | This will be subjected to time and availability as our cakes are made-to-order. Thus, to avoid disappointment, we encourage you to order at least 3 working days in advance so that you can get the exact flavour and size you want. |
